Vintage Edinburgh Scottish Sterling Silver and Green/Brown Agate Brooch - 1966
The brooch has a superb construction with wonderful claw work holding the stone showing this is a quality piece.
The stone is a stunning green and brown agate which has been fully tested and is a genuine agate stone.
The brooch has very faded stamps which are impossible to read correctly apart from the date letter L for 1966 at the Edinburgh assay office .
The width is 3.8 cm ( one and a half inches ) and the pin and locking type clasp are in good working condition and original.
