Vintage Original Beatles Yellow Submarine Figurines by Goebel - 1968
This is a very rare and cool find. This is the complete set of Beatles figurines by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik.
A set of four original 1968 hand-painted porcelain Beatles Goebel figurines depicting The Beatles as their Yellow Submarine characters. The figurines were manufactured by the Goebel Corporation, Germany in 1968. The project was developed by the son of the owner of the company and they were produced in extremely limited quantities. It is believed that only around 100 sets were produced; making it one of the rarest pieces of Beatles novelty memorabilia. The bottom of each figurine has the company logo and the year on one foot and the product number on the other foot. This set was originally owned by a former employee of the Goebel company.
Each figure stands approximately 21.5cm (8.5 inches) tall.
