'The return from the Boer War in South Africa of the Maxim Gun Detachment in 1904 demanded a very special celebration. A Detachment Commander and grandson of the founder of Vaux Breweries Major Ernest Vaux originated the recipe for this historical Brown Ale, a recipe that remains unchanged.'

No chips or cracks but crazing is evident. Marks and wear commensurate with age otherwise in good condition
