Vintage Silver Vesta Case - Art Nouveau Influence Foliate Design and Crown Topped Lid
Condition is excellent. There are no splits, dents or repairs, just the usual light surface scratches commensurate with age.
The hinge is strong, has a snap shut closing action and the lid has a nice tight fit when closed. The strike plate shows little signs of wear. There is a tiny area of plate loss but in my opinion they add to the patina of the case.
A highly desirable vesta case which would compliment any collection.
Whilst I have not been able to find any hallmarks - it does test for silver.
The case measures 6.5cm x 3.2cm and weighs 28g.
