VICTORIAN LARGE IRONSTONE DECORATIVE PLATE BY WILLIAM ADAMS.
A stunning antique plate dating to 1910. Unusual design with the slogan reading around the outside of the plate - The Valiant Priest Of Feltham - He Killed a Mouse within his house and ne'er a soul to help him. Plate measures 27 cms in diameter.
This rare large decorative Victorian Ironstone wall plate by William Adams and Co. is entitled " THE VALIANT PRIEST OF FELTHAM" who has just stabbed an unfortunate Rat that had been foolish enough to try to steal from the priests plate.
It has the correct marks etc on the back and except for some very, very mild nibbling to the rim here and there, it is in perfect condition. This unusual and very rare plate would make a rare and valuable addition to your collection.
