Antique Victorian Solid Silver Lever Pocket Watch - 11 jewels - 1890/1907
The solid silver case is in good condition and has little pocket wear. The back has an engine turned design with a vacant cartouche in the middle - around the outside of the case is a coined edging. Push the button down on the neck and the back will spring open. The inside back cover is a 935 silver stamp and 3 bears for Swiss silver. There is a dust cover over the movement, which key wound and set - a key will be supplied. A lever escapement with a 3/4 plate, a plain balance cock and a ruby end stone.
The dial is white enamel with black roman numerals and a sub seconds dial at 6 o'clock - it has no chips, hairlines or staining - it's just in great condition. all the hands are there they are all in good condition and working well.
The watch is 53.9mm in diameter with out the neck, and 18.6mm thick with the glass.
All of the hinges are in good condition and working well.
This is a very nice solid silver Lever pocket watch in good condition and working well.
A great piece of social history.
