Antique Victorian Birmingham Hallmarked Silver ENGLISH WATCH Co Pocket Watch - 1891
This lovely English pocket watch is Birmingham Hallmarked "r" =(1891) 0.925 silver, the case No- 148891 is in very nice condition no bad dents or scratches just some nice even pocket wear. Both back and front open and close nicely. Original marine glass. The lovely champagne colour porcelain dial is very good with no chips, stains or visible hairlines.
It has golden spear and whip hands, black Roman numerals with outer minute track and a sub seconds dial at 6- o'clock.
The watch measures 54 mm across.
The Makers Mark is - R.B. For - Robert Bragge, Case Maker for The English Watch Co. Villa Street, Hockley, Birmingham. Registered 1876.
It has a full plate, English 7 jewel barrel key wind and set movement No 148891 with English lever escapement, and is running very well and keeping very reasonable good time.
