RARE John Beswick HRH Queen Elizabeth II Trooping the Colour - Riding Winston - In White Gloss - Ltd Edition Of 75
This piece was made to celebrate our dear late Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Diamond Jubilee 1953-2013 depicting her “Trooping the Colour” for the first time on 11th June 1953 .
The horse she is mounted on is Winston named after Winston Churchill
Winston (1937–1957) was a chestnut gelding ridden by both King George VI in 1947 and Queen Elizabeth II in the Trooping the Colour ceremony from 1949 to 1956….after this she rode Imperial .
